Premiere Program Classes

Ballet
Our ballet program combines Cecchetti, English and Vaganova technique to help establish a strong core and proper flexability for each dancer. The students will master proper placement, turn out, and technique while learning and understanding ballet history and language. The ballet classes are very structured and strive to help attain healthy work ethics, discipline, and self-esteem. Advanced dancers will also train and study Pointe after metting specific requirements. Click here for a description of levels and class times.

Tap
Premiere Dance Center offers Tap programs from beginning to advanced levels. These programs introduce dancers to a variety of styles, while concentrating on rhythm tap. A wide range of skills will be covered including counter rhythms, rhythmic timing, intricate tap patterns, vocabulary, choreography and improvisation. Our students are recognized for their fast feet as well as their passion for that art of tap. Click here for a description of levels and class times.

Jazz
Premiere's Jazz program concentrates on proper technique, flexability, and style. Dancers will master multiple-turn rotations; a variety of leaps and jumps while learning about different jazz forms and exploring the art of dance. The jazz class will incorporate center-floor work, across-the-floor combinations and jazz routines, which will increase the dancer's memory for choreography and movement patterns. Lyrical

Turns and Leaps
This class focuses on enhancing the strength and flexability of the students throught the course of the warm up in the beginning of the class The remainder of the class is used to break down basic and complex jumps to help the students better understand what their bodies must do to reach their maximum ability levels. Turns are also broken down to understand how the body must use its center to successfully complete a large number of turns. Beginning/intermediate through advanced levels are welcome in this aerobic class.

Pilates
Pilates is the hottest body conditioning and workout regimen to hit the nation! Come and realign your body, soul and spirit while strengthening your core.

Yoga
Yoga exercises have become increasingly popular in recent years and are being recommended by physical fitness experts as a means of cleansing the body of impurities, toning up the nerves and muscles, and as a method of improving health. Bu teaching effective ways to stretch and strengthen the bosy, promote physical balance, increase mental alertness and help to prevent injuries, yoga will renew physical and emotional health.
