spc Sara Brannman

Sara credits her strong ballet background to her training with Donald Snyder of the Royal Opera Ballet and Carolyn Farrar on many early summer mornings. Sara joined the Premiere Dance Center competition team in late 2009, where she earned multiple awards and scholarships, including Celebrity Dance Competition's highest award as a faculty member at their Nationals at Sea competition.

After leaving the competition scene, Sara began to focus more on teaching and performing. Over the course of the last six years, Sara has choreographer for multiple studios, including Premiere, PacWest Performing Arts and Art School Ellen. Her contemporary choreography has been awarded with six regional choreography awards from Spotlight Dance Cup, and she has performed with the Alchemy Tap Project, the Walla Walla Dance Festival, and been hired as a dancer for Screaming Flea Productions.

Though dance is a huge part of Sara's life, she recently graduated with a B.A. in Public Policy, a B.A. in Environmental Studies, and a minor in Human Rights, and is now working with an advocacy nonprofit in downtown Seattle.
