spc Robyne DeJong      

Robyne has been teaching and working with children for over 30 years. She has a B.A. from Cal State Fullerton in Musical Theatre. In addition to teaching ballet, tap, musical theatre, and jazz/lyrical dance classes, she's spent many years teaching music, drama, acting, gymnastics, and karate, has been a substitute in the public school system, and has even taught horseback riding lessons for kids. She's been a mom for over 16 years.

Robyne also enjoys a career as a professional performer. A member of the Actors' Equity Association, Robyne has performed all over the U.S. in musicals and plays. Locally, she has performed with The Village Theatre, Second Story Rep, Snowflake Lane, and is currently a member of Split Second Improv. She has sung with several jazz, blues, and pop bands, recorded character voices for many video games and animation projects, and has appeared in commercials and films. She is also a children's recording artist, recently releasing her debut album,Ooples and Banoonoos. She is very excited to be teaching dance and bringing The Cool School to Premiere Dance Center. Seeing young people have fun growing artistically, emotionally, and physically through learning and practicing cool skills is one of her favorite phenomena.
